Hypnosis

Do you feel like you have tried everything and nothing helps?  Perhaps, adding hypnosis to your form of treatment may provide some relief.   Hypnosis is an adjunctive form of therapy. A hypnotic induction is performed by a highly trained mental health or medical professional who has specialized training in hypnosis. After discussing the presenting complaint with the client, the professional determines a course of action. During hypnosis an individual is provided with direct and indirect suggestions aimed at addressing the presenting problem. Contrary to popular belief, people who are hypnotized are in control of their thoughts and behaviors. Unless there is suggestion for amnesia, the individual hypnotized remembers everything that transpired in a hypnotic session. Different individuals experience hypnosis differently and some are respond better than others. Please contact me if you have additional questions about hypnosis and how it may help your symptoms.
